SCULPTING DREAMS INTO REALITY

REIMAGINING OFFICE SPACE

Office space doesn't have to feel like an office. In fact, most people say the best office space is the kind that feels like a home. Whether you are a large firm or a small business, incorporating some architectural touches to make the office feel less "business" and more "relaxed" is a surefire way to have happier employees.

These photos illustrate an office Archiscapes designed in Seacrest Beach. This tenant build-out inside an existing office complex featured several offices, a large front office gathering space, break room and conference area.

The business owners wanted the office to feel warm and inviting. To that end, we specified reclaimed brick walls, dark wood floors, painted wood ceilings, transom glass above the glass office doors, and warm stained wood interior doors. A few extra touches such as residential style pendant lights and countertops help soften the space.

My personal favorite is the curved main desk. It really adds a fun, dramatic touch.
