SCULPTING DREAMS INTO REALITY

Why we love bunk beds

When I was growing up, I thought bunk beds were SO COOL.

And by cool, I mean the kind of metal framed bunk beds you bought at Sears, because that was the only kind of bunk bed I had ever seen.

I still happen to think bunk beds are awesome, but today's bunk beds are 10X the fun as those old frame bunks. Think built in USB ports, individual lights, curtains, and hidden nooks. The sky's the limit when it comes to bunk beds and trundle beds.

So why do so many of our clients love bunk beds?

For starters, they are a great space saver. Built in to the wall of a secondary den, you can hide them behind curtains during the day and no one even notices they are there. Hidden drawers underneath and in the stairs give guests plenty of room to store their stuff.

Second, these are not kid beds. Full sized twin mattresses and even doubles or queen mattresses work in our bunk beds, allowing for adults alike to enjoy the fun.

Third, get creative with the spaces. We have designed bunk beds to look like boats and submarines as well as more traditional beds. These bunks are built to flow with the style of the home and give it personality.

Whatever you do... don't go thinking that just because you've outgrown those old camp bunk beds, you are done with calling "dibs" for the top bunk.
